McAllen’s Gaslight Club is one of the clubs in the Rio Grande Valley, where poker fans gather to play Texas Hold’em for fun instead of cash. They are hiring Rodriguez, who owns and runs Valley Club Poker. on weeknights the company offers free poker tournaments at area bars - Gaslight. It offers also a Mission’s Hotties Grill & Bar and some places in Laredo. He hopes that nobody else is doing it in the Valley, because he's heard of similar ventures in San Antonio, Austin, Florida and the Midwest. He got the idea while working for a similar operation in Corpus Christi. He started his own with his 22-year-old son, Ronnie, in July.
